About Kit Crumb

Kit Crumb has enjoyed a lifelong curiosity and interest in adventure, survival, and the natural world. He has led tours of one of the world’s largest dry caverns, has worked as an EMT, worked in radio and television, entertained as  professional magician, taught fencing, and scuba diving.

Kit holds a black belt in three martial art systems and  taught Kenpo and women’s self defense for over fifty years through his Black Dragon Dojos in Arizona, California, and Oregon. His stories often reflect aspects of his real-life experiences and his protagonists are often women who are skilled in the martial arts.

Kit lives high in the southern Oregon Cascade Mountain range, with his partner Christine, a book designer, where he writes full-time and manages their cabin for solo writers seeking a creative retreat and solitude.

His popular podcast, A Darn Good Mystery - Reviews and Interviews is available through iTunes, Apple podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and at www.adarngoodmystery.com.
